Who doesn't know almonds?
Its oval/flat shape but pointed at an end makes a beautiful presentation in several cooked dishes or snacks. The nut is brown outside but white inside.
Almonds go with wonders in several sautées in a wok. They are excellent in sautées with Indian chicken. Many use them cut in small strips as seasoning on fish, especially with doré.
The outside of the almond shell is hard and beige.
